I know you don't want to hear all the boring wedding details...so other than the wedding...I have really been enjoying teaching 5th grade. My students have come a long way from the first day of school. I have been immersing them in language development, sight word recognition and spelling. They love chanting their words on the word wall. This week, we are going to a VOA function. VOA is Volunteers of America, a company we are an affiliate of. They hold a fundraiser every year at the Metropolitan. Our class has been chosen to sing at the function, which is on Wednesday. We get on a bus at 7:50, go to the Metropolitan, sing, eat breakfast and go back to school. It should be a fun time. And then, on Friday, we are walking to the Children's Theater to see Madeline and the Gypsies. What a fun-filled week!!
I have been going through pictures to scan for a slideshow for the wedding reception. It has been really fun seeing pictures of Chad and I when we were young. I had seen all my pics but I was seeing Chad's for the first time. I am keeping the slideshow secret from Chad. He knows I am making it but I am not going to let him see it until our reception. I am SOOO excited for this surprise. I can never keep a surprise long enough, so I really hope I can keep this a surprise.

Your blog is really boring me.....
Hi Joanie! Thanks for stopping by my blog! It's fun reading through yours...I used to teach, so I know how fun and crazy it can be!
I do make all the pocketfold invitations by hand. Generally, pocketfolds are about $4 per invitation since they require so much paper. However, there are other types of invitations I can do that are within your budget.
Let me know if you have any other questions. I'd be glad to answer them for you. And congratulations on your engagement! :o)
