My husband is trying to convince me that I do NOT need a GPS heart rate monitor, but I think I do. What are your thoughts on the Heart Rate Monitors and the ones with a GPS??
Unless you plan to run outside in the spring/summer, I don't think you need the GPS part. I have a Garmin that has a heart rate monitor, so I can track my mileage. I never use the HRM because it's waaaay off. I mean, I think it works correctly, but because I have exercised-enduced asthma, my heart rate is off the charts even when I'm comfortable with my exertion level.
I am a newlywed and a Reading Intervention Specialist at a charter school in Minneapolis. I am also in school to get my Reading license. After coming to the realization that my metabolism has slowed WAY down, I am on the journey to a healthier life...healthy, balanced eating and consistent exercise.
